The RESPOND Project: Community Action for Rights Empowerment and Education Initiatives (Project C.A.R.E.) is a whole-day initiative that addresses advancing community rights and well-being through inclusive advocacy. Topics cover self-discovery and personal values, SOGIESC fundamentals, the Safe Spaces Act, community psychosocial support, and HIV education. The event brings together 120 educators and learners from multiple institutions, with expertise shared by FPOP Baguio-Benguet Chapter, AHF Philippines, and the City Council. It emphasizes interactive group work and knowledge-exchange to foster stakeholder partnership, while equipping participants to champion equitable access to services and respectful spaces. The initiative generates meaningful learning outcomes and strengthens commitment to building a more equitable, rights-conscious, and supportive community. Overall, it establishes a roadmap to advance rights-based initiatives and foster partnerships for local change.
