The Summit showcased inspiring discussions that equipped us with the tools to advocate effectively. It underscored the significant power of young voters in shaping the Philippine political system. It also presented an insightful overview of the "Character City Ordinance and Youth Ordinance," emphasizing the importance of young people understanding the laws that govern their communities and advocating for policies that benefit all residents of Baguio. This was followed by a talk from Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, who addressed "Youth Responsibility and Youth Empowerment." He highlighted how empowering youth with responsibility fosters active, engaged citizens who contribute to a thriving community. The session on "Theories about Politics and Youth Power" explored how young people bring fresh perspectives, innovative solutions, and long-term vision, ensuring a more inclusive and progressive Baguio. Finally, the youth participants were given the opportunity to create their own country and allocate a budget for the top ten departments in their nation.
